Crying City Biography
Crying City is a Korean-American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Los Angeles (previously the Bay Area). Born Minha Kim (Minh) in South Korea, she moved to the U.S. as a child, growing up primarily in Phoenix, Arizona, after a brief time in Indiana. She studied neurobiology at UC Berkeley with plans to pursue medicine but began writing and sharing songs on TikTok during college.
Her music merges lo-fi DIY production, atmospheric indie/dream/bedroom pop, and introspective lyrics.
