To make it bit more complex you can replace F with Fmaj7 (2413). Beautiful song.

Chorus:
F Am Em
Try not to abuse your power
F Am G
I know we didn't choose to change
F Am Em
You might not want to lose your power
F Am G
     But having it's so strange

Verse 1:
    F Am Em
She said you were a hero, you played the part
        F Am G
But you ruined her in a year, don't act like it was hard
        F
And you swear you didn't know -didn't know, didn't know-
         Am Em
No wonder why you didn't ask
          F
She was sleeping in your clothes -in your clothes-
              Am G
But now she's got to get to class

Pre-Chorus:
    -nc-
How dare you
F Am Em
   And how could you
                  F
Will you only feel bad when they find out
                        Am G
If you could take it all back
 -nc-
Would you?

Chorus:
F Am Em
Try not to abuse your power
F Am G
I know we didn't choose to change
F Am Em
You might not want to lose your power
F Am G
     But having it's so strange

Verse 2:
F
I thought that I was special
Am Em F
You made me feel like it was my fault
                     Am G
You were the devil, lost your appeal
        F
Does it keep you in control -in control-
            Am Em
For you to keep her in a cage
        F
And you swear you didn't know -didn't know-
               Am G
You said you thought she was your age

Pre-Chorus:
    -nc-.
How dare you
F Am Em
   And how could you?
                  F Am G
Will you only feel bad if it turns out, that they kill your contract
 -nc-
Would you?

Chorus:
F Am Em
Try not to abuse your power
F Am G
I know we didn't choose to change
F Am Em
You might not want to lose your power
F Am G
     But power isn't pain
