remember keys
Am F
Nothing goes as planned
C G
Everything will break
Am F
People say goodbye
C G
In their own special way

Am F
All that you can rely on
C G
And all that you could fake
Am F
Will leave you in the morning
C G
Come find you in the day

Am F C G
Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out
Am F C G
Oh, you’re all I taste, at night inside of my mouth
Am F C G
Oh, you run away, cause I am not what you found
Am F C G
Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out

-same Am F C G chord progression throughout the song-

Everything will change
Nothing stays the same
Nobody is perfect
Oh, but everyone's to blame
All that you rely on
And all that you can save
Will leave you in the morning
Will find you in the day

Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out
Oh, you’re all I taste, at night inside of my mouth
Oh, you run away, cause I am not what you found
Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out

No I cannot get you out
No I cannot get you out
Oh no, I cannot get you out
No I cannot get you out

Everything is dark
It’s more than you could take
But you catch a glimpse of sunlight
Shining
Shining down on your face
Your face
On your face

Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out
Oh, you’re all I taste, at night inside of my mouth
Oh, you run away, cause I am not what you found
Oh, you’re in my veins, and I cannot get you out
No, I cannot get you out.
No, I cannot get you out.
Oh no, I cannot get you...

  2. What is the strumming pattern?

  3. This is beautiful, and honestly I didn’t expect easy chords.

  4. On verses, start the Am/C after the last word in the line, then play F/G right before the first word of the following line, e.g.:
    ————————Am F
    Nothing goes as planned
    ———————-C G
    Everything will break

  5. What’s the strumming pattern

  6. I love the chorus of this song.

  7. This is a beautiful song, and remarkably simple to play.
