How to read tablature?
Intro: Em B Em B

Verse:
           Em
It doesn't take much,
            B
To cover up small cuts,
                B7
Hid' 'neath the bandages,
          Em
Under her sleeve.

               Em
She just wants attention.
            B
We all want attention.
                  B7
She just wants it more than,
               Em
She'd have you believe.

Chorus:
    B
Goodnight,
      Em
Sleep tight,
      B Em
Don't let anyone bite you.
         B Em
She will leave you deaf and bewildered.
           B
Oh how she floats like a butterfly,
-mute- B7
Stings like a killer.

Interlude: Em B Em B

Verse:
           Em
All of the good kids,
                  B
Will darken their eyelids,
         B7
Cover in make-up,
                  Em
And uncomfortable dress.

            B
We all want attention.
            B7 Em
a beautiful kiss and a sin to confess.

the lyrics for the bridge should be:
“Just give them back to me please
Just give me back my pieces
Just give them back to me please
And let me hold my broken parts”

Lilylovesherukulele

I like -4 but i just find it hard to play E and i love this website:)

Audreywest

+1 is a bit easier for anyone who trying to escape the dreaded E
Though in my opinion its not that hard

Ray

For me Ab in the chorus sounds really out of place. Any suggestions for an alternative?

Dakota

It sounds best on -4 in my opinion but great job on the cords

Ally

E7 is my go-to replacement for E

lovemyuke!

E and E7 sound really out of place. I do C instead.
