Verse: Bb F C When you fall asleep, Bb F with your head, Dm C upon my shoulder. Bb F C When you're in my arms, Bb F Dm C but you've gone somewhere deeper. Pre-Chorus: Bb Dm F Are you going to age with grace? Bb Dm F C Are you going to leave a path to trace? -age without mistakes- Bb Dm F Are you going to age with grace? Bb Dm F C Or only to wake and hide your face. Chorus: Bb C F Well..oh, oblivion. Bb Dm F Is calling out your name. Bb C F You always take it further, Bb Dm F than I ever can. Verse: Bb F C When you play it harder, Bb F Dm C and I try to follow you there, Bb F C It's not about control, Bb F Dm C But I turn back when I see where you go.
I love this song and it sounds great, but the lyrics aren’t quite right as in the first pre-chorus it’s ‘are you going to age without mistakes’
and in the second it is ‘are you going to leave a path to trace’; also in the second pre-chorus it doesn’t say the second half – straight to chorus which repeats itself. 🙂
