5 ukulele chords used in "Clouds" by Zach Sobiech: Am, Bb, C, Dm7 and F

ok so i watched the movie and cried til 3 am, i highly recommend it, it is amazing and it is…very real, i lost my dad earlier this year and it honestly took me on that journey again and it hurt but it was also kind of nice to remember him, i know he would’ve loved to see that that movie was made and i know he would’ve loved this song so it’s rly special to me. anyway, sad story over, i love this song and the movie is amazing, r.i.p. zach sobiech
Who else heard this song a long time ago and just saw that Disney is making a movie?
i love this song. thanks, the chords are great.
strumming pattern?
So I really wanted to play the notes in the beginning of the song, but my uke does not go to a low B. So I just decided to move it an octave higher and play all the notes on my A string, which is still pain, but at least I got all the notes. Here it is:
A- —-5–9–12–5–4–14–12——2–9–12–9–10——5–9–12–5–4–14–12 (continue pattern)
^(strumming starts here in the song)
hope this helps for anyone who wants it 🙂
(I also play on a Concert Ukulele, so I am not sure if soprano players have up till 14 frets, sorry.)
Strumming: DDUUDU,
If you want more rhythm in your strum, I would do DUX, but slower.
I am not certain about anything above, it is just what I do and what I think works best! :3
i played Am instead of Am7, it just sounded better
Am I the only one here after watching the movie and getting inspired to do more? This song is seriously my favorite now. Whenever I hear it I start to cry! This is the best/saddest story behind a song. Thank you Zach.
Yes Bill is right, I agree 100% ?
i would agree with bill as well.
bill is right
i tried making my own chords to the song and i think it sounds pretty good but still not better than the og but the quords are c, em, am, f
no story here, it just sounds better transposed up 3
i cried soo much, you don’t even know😭😭😭😭
It was hard to handle
When I saw the movie, I was moved and so inspired. (While I was balling my eyes out.) I love this song so much! My grandma died of cancer when I was six, so i can relate. My condolences to anyone who has lost someone they love.
I like it but the chord “g” I feel like doesn’t fit in with the tune of the song
I Transposed down 2 with capo on 2nd fret and I tried am instead of a7 and I like it more.
