I waited ages to see you there
G A D
I searched the party of better bodies
           Bm
Just to learn that you never cared

     Bm
  I run away

G A D

I called a taxi to take me there
G A D
I searched the party of better bodies
              Bm
Just to learn that my dreams aren't rare

  You're on your own, kid

Chorus:
G A D

I gave my blood, sweat and tears for this
G A D
I hosted parties and starved my body
                Bm
Like I'd be saved by a perfect kiss
G A D
The jokes weren't funny, I took the money
                    Bm
My friends from home don't know what to say
G A D
  I looked around in a blood-soaked gown
                 Bm
And I saw something they can't take away
G A
  'Cause there were pages turned
                      D
  With the Bridges burned
                   Bm
Everything you lose is a step you take
G A
  So make the friendship bracelets
                       D
Take the moment and taste it
               Bm
You got no reason to be afraid
G A
  You're on your own, kid
G A
  Yeah, you can face this
G A
  You're on your own, kid
                      D
  You always have been

If you transpose to -2 and change Fmaj7 for Fm it still sounds good and a whole bunch easier

0 is fine, just switch the Gmaj7 to a G, easier and sounds loads better
