D G
Standing, on the edge of forever
                Bm
At the start of whatever
                     Gbm
Shouting love at the world
D G
Back then, we were like cavemen
               Bm
But we met the moon and the stars
        Gbm
Then we forgave them

Em G
We will meet you where the lights are
Bm Gbm
The defenders, of the faith we are
Em
Where the thunder turns around
        G Bm
They'll run so hard we'll tear the ground away

         Em B
You know no one dies
         Em B
In these love drowned eyes
            Em B
Through our love drowned eyes
                Gbsus4 Gb
We'll watch you sleep tonight

G D
Although no one understood
                         Bm
We were holding back the flood
                          Gbm
Learning how to dance the rain
G D
We were holding back the flood
                           A
They said we'd never dance again

D G
Bleeding, but none of us leaving
           Bm
Watch your mouth son
                        Gbm
Or you'll find yourself floating home

Em G
Here we come now on a dark star
Bm Gbm
Seeing demons, not what we are
Em
Tiny minds and eager hands
     G Bm
Will try to strike but now will end today

        Em B
There's progress now
            Em B
Where there once was none
            Em B
Where there once was none
                Gbsus4 Gb
Then everything came along

G D
Although no one understood
                         Bm
We were holding back the flood
                          Gbm
Learning how to dance the rain
G D
There was more of them than us
                        A
Now they'll never dance again

Learning how to dance the rain
G D
We were holding back the flood
                           A
They said we'd never dance again

We will meet you where the lights are,

Biography

Take That is a pop-rock band that originated in Manchester, England in 1990. The original members were Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Robbie Williams, Jason Orange and Howard Donald. Between the band’s first single release, “Do What U Like” and “Promises” in 1991 and their cataclysmic breakup in 1996 when Robbie Williams left the band to pursue a solo career in 1995, the BBC described Take That as “the most successful British band since The Beatles, beloved of young and old alike.”
