Intro:
C
Oh o oh, oh o oh, oh o oh, oh o oh
G
Oh o oh, oh o oh, oh o oh

C G
Looking at it now it all seems so simple
        Am F
We were lying on your couch, I remember
           C G
You took a Polaroid of us, then discovered
                Am
The Rest of the world is black and white
               F
But we were in screaming color

And I remember thinking

C
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
                  G
Are we out of the woods?
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
                  Am
In the clear yet? Good
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
                  F
Are we out of the woods?
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
                  C
In the clear yet? Good

-Oh o oh, oh o oh, oh o oh
Are we out of the woods-

C G
Looking at it now, last December
        Am
We were built to fall apart
                F
And fall back together -back together-
                  C
Ooh your necklace hanging from my neck

The night we couldn't quite forget
        G
When we decided, we decided
            Am
To move the furniture so we could dance

Baby like we stood a chance
          F
Two paper airplanes flying, flying, flying

C
Remember when you hit the brakes too soon
                            G
20 stitches in the hospital room

When you started crying baby I did too
                                      Am
When the sun came up I was looking at you

Remember when we couldn't take the heat
                                    F
I walked out saying I'm setting you free

The monsters turned out to be just tree's
                                         C
When the sun came up you were looking at me

                    G
You were looking at me, oh
                    Am
You were looking at me
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
Are we out of the woods yet?
    F
I remember
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
Are we in the clear yet?
Oh I remember

That C just doesn’t sound like it’s right – anyone else have a better idea?

Natalie

i play the Em with fingers 2, 3, 4 and allows me to make the G quicker and the Am with the index finger.

Nick

Where do you find the strum pattern on these tabs? I always have to search the comments

KatiAnn

What can I do during the “I know” part? Strumming doesn’t seem right, mute strumming doesn’t sound right, tapping/beating doesn’t sound right, and playing nothing doesn’t sound right either. can anyone help me out on this? Thanks.

keelysmith18

+5 is pretty easy and sounds the best for female voice

Christopher Belluzzi

I play E7 (gone)
G (long)
And E (time) as an alternative way of doing it.

Bobbe Marshall

I changed Em to Em7. So Am Em7 G Am etc.
I also replaced the C (gone too long) with an Am.

aftonisme

I like -7 on the transposer

batbugz

I think the C should change to an F
