UKULELE CHORDS

remove these ads
Verse 1:
D
You stand in the middle

Always surrounded like the Sun
D
And I'm stuck stranded on planets
                                         G
Where I swear I'm the only one who notices me

Somebody notice me
D
Standing quite politely

I'm on the dark side of the moon
D
And I'd say something, but I'm too scared

So I'll just chill in my room
G
Hopefully

Someone will notice me

Pre-Chorus:
D
Maybe I'll find comfort on my own
G
Maybe I'll live in a quiet home
A Bm
Maybe I'll just settle down and leave these dreams alone
Gmaj7
If all of this makes perfect sense to me

Chorus:
                         D
Then why does it hurt so bad

That nobody knows my name here?
                    G
Why does it hurt so bad
                                             Bm
That nobody wants to stay here with me, with me?
                              G
I'll never know why they just won't
-nc-
Notice me, notice me, notice me

Verse 2:
D
One day, I'll be better at expressing these things to you

One day, I'll find something I'll put all of my heart into
        G
But for now

That remains to be found
D
One day, I'll just wake up and my life will be okay

And all the colors in my room will fight against the grey
    G
But tonight

Things remain black and white

Pre-Chorus:
D
Maybe I'll find comfort on my own
G
Maybe I'll live in a quiet home
A Bm
Maybe I'll just settle down and leave these dreams alone
Gmaj7
If all of this makes perfect sense to me

Chorus:
                         D
Then why does it hurt so bad

That nobody knows my name here?
                    G
Why does it hurt so bad
                                             Bm
That nobody wants to stay here with me, with me?
                              G
I'll never know why they just won't
-nc-
Notice me, notice me, notice me

Outro:

D
Notice me, notice me, notice me

Notice me, notice me, notice me
