Intro: D Am C G

Verse 1:
D Am
Here in the shadow
   C G
Of all that's said and done
    D Am
The love that you borrowed
       C G
In the morning's come and gone
    D Am
You run from tomorrow
        C G
But the madness catches up
    D Am
The pain from the window
         C G
Yeah, it all keeps stacking up

Pre-Chorus:
        Am Em
This is all we are, we are
        G
This is all we are

Chorus:
    D Am
You seem so damn familiar
      C G
But I just can't place the name
       D Am
You're staring in a mirror
         C G
But your face won't stay the same
     D Am C G
Been waiting for so long but the moment never came
   D Am C D
If life's a game of inches, how'd you get miles away?
 Am C G
Away

Verse 2:
D Am
Hand to the bible
       C G
But my wrongs stay in place
D Am
Lost in thе rubble
        C G
But the house stands all thе same
    D Am
You bet on the sorrow
         C G
Now your heart is overrun
    D Am
You fear what you don't know
         C G
Tell me, what have I become?

Pre-Chorus:
        Am Em
This is all we are, we are
        G
This is all we are

Chorus:
    D Am
You seem so damn familiar
      C G
But I just can't place the name
       D Am
You're staring in a mirror
         C G
But your face won't stay the same
     D Am C G
Been waiting for so long but the moment never came
   D Am C D
If life's a game of inches, how'd you get miles away?

Away
