D
Sloan, let's sing a song, what should we sing?

Intro -x4-: G Gmaj7 D Em

Verse 1:
G D
My memory is not like the other one
Em
Turn to strike my face
G G D
     Always second place
Em G
Tell me again why is it I
             D
Never can do anything right?
Em G D
   Complicated theories of life, sarcastically

Chorus:
Em G
   But we both know
                   D
The way it's gonna go
Em G Gmaj7
   In the same way
                                    D
Maybe I'm not all that you thought
Em G
   And we don't move
                D
Like we used to do
Em G
   In the same way
-nc-
Maybe you're not such a hot rod

Interlude: D Em

Verse 2:
G D
Take back again all that I ever was
       Em G
It was only just a face
                            D
I never thought of it that way
    Em
But what do I know
G
I'm sorry for
               D
Not wanting to be your décor
Em G D
Truth is such a violent force, pushing you away

Chorus:
G
   But we both know
                   D
The way it's gonna go
Em G
   In the same way

Maybe I'm not
Gmaj7 D
      All that you thought
Em G
   And we don't move
                D
Like we used to do
Em G
   In the same way
-nc- D Em

      All that you thought
Em G
   And we don't move
                D
Like we used to do

I really like how it sounds when you pluck the second string once then pluck the other three strings in the rhythm that she does in the song. I think it’s one pluck of the second string followed by five plucks of the rest of them? If you put your fingers down to mute the strings a bit in between plucks it sounds shorter and more like the song too 🙂

Bell

for the intro i pull the 2nd and 3rd strings then the 1rst and 4rth and finally all strings, then for the chorus i just pull all of them in a rythmic way, and for the outro i just pull the strings marking a constant beat
