B
You got new jeans, the hoody’s not gone
                                       Abm
i’m in a new dress that i’ve never worn
                     E
and I could have sworn

B
You didn’t bat an eye when I walked
                                    Abm
in to the room where I first thought
                   E
you could be the one

Dbm E B Gb
Have we been seeing the world through a piece of shattered glass?
Dbm E B Gb
-Cause- something so beautiful can fall apart so fast

B B Abm E
Just before goodbye, you had the chance to change your mind
B B Abm E
Just before you lied saying, you gave this your best try
B B Abm E
It’s not enough to try, you have to give your blood and tears and time
Abm E
You had one last chance to change your mind

B B Abm E
Just before goodbye

B
Curtains are drawn but we’re still dressed
                                     Abm
the film plays on whilst under breath
                C
I ask what is left now?

But you ignore, pretend that we’re fine
but we’re not together half of the time
how would I know the signs?

B B Abm E
It’s not enough to try, you have to give your blood and tears and time,
Abm E
take the world of hurt inside,
Abm E
You had one last chance to change your mind
B B Abm E
Just before goodbye
