Nicole Ann Bell, also known as Nicole Dollanganger, is a singer-songwriter from Whitchurch-Stouffville, an “eerily silent” suburb of Toronto. Her music is characterized by her innocent, high-pitched vocals accompanied by sparse instrumentation, which stand in stark contrast to her dark, sometimes macabre, lyrics.

She released four albums and three EPs without any label support via Bandcamp from 2012-2014, and gathered a large following on blogging platform Tumblr, where she would also post song demos and covers.
