Intro -a capella-:
I am nothing without love
I'm but a ship stuck in the sand
Some would say that I'm all alone
But I am, I'm nothing without love

Verse:
Db Gb
I am nothing without love
Db Ab
I'm but a ship stuck in the sand
Db Gb
Some would say that I'm all alone
      Db Ab Db
But I am, I'm nothing without love
Db Gb
I wanna hold her in my arms
Db Ab
She feelin' alone, she feelin' sad
Db Gb
I would take credit for what's wrong,
       Db Ab Db
But I am, I'm nothing without love

Interlude -x4-: Db Db Gb Db Gb

Verse:
Db Gb
Three years at sea after the storm
Db Ab
And this sinking ship of love you put me on
Db Gb
God, I wish a gust of wind would come and carry me home
    Db Ab Db
But I, I got nowhere to go
Db Gb
Now here you show up with the force of a wave
Db Ab
So I'm setting my sail, I'm headed for the Empire state
Db Gb
Hey hey, I don't wanna lose this one, she made me feel whole, you know
    Db Ab Db
I am, I'm nothing without love
