Intro: G Am Em

G Am Em
Man, it's been a long day
                        G Am Em
Stuck thinking 'bout it driving on the freeway
                        G Am Em
Wondering if I really tried everything I could
                        G Am Em
Not knowing if I should try a little harder
            G Am
Oh, but i'm scared to death
           Em C
That there may not be another one like this
    G Am Em C
And I confess that i'm only holding on by a thin thin threat
        G D
And i'm kicking the curb cause you never heard
    C
The place that you needed to have
        G D C
And i'm kicking the dirt cause I never gave you the place that you needed to held
G Am Em G Am Em
I'm so sad, saaad

G Am Em

                   G Am Em
Just sitting here, trying not to look back
                     G Am Em
Still looking at the road we never drove on
                           G Am Em
And wondering if the one I chose was the right one
            G Am
Oh, but i'm scared to death
