Intro - x2 -: G C G D

Chorus:
              G C
Well I've got love in my blood, and I've got you on my brain.
          G D
I haven't got enough blood, I cannot love you enough.
              G C
If you've got love in your blood, if it is bolder than death
          G D
Oh let it spill, let it spill, over the heart you love best.

Verse:
G C G D
Tumble, the old song, new love, let it grow.
G C G D
We will never fall apart, you can't tear our soul but you can tear our heart.
    G C G D
The December sun is slow to fall, our shadows stretched out over the lot.
G C G D
Take a picture before we're old, we've never looked so beautiful.

Interlude: G C G D

Verse:
    G C G D
And I will build a towering pile of passion built by my desire.
      G C G D
Don't give me time to gather the fuel for an old flame in time will cool.
  G C G D
I give you my flesh and all its ambition, I give you my love and all of this vision.
G C G D
If you love me just the same we will never ever pass away

Interlude: G C G D

Chorus:
              G C

          G D
I haven't got enough blood, I cannot love you enough.
              G C
If you've got love in your blood, if it is bolder than death
          G D
Oh let it spill, let it spill, over the heart you love best.

Chorus:
              G C

- got love, enough? -
              G C
If you've got love in your blood, if it is bolder than death
- love blood, bolder? -
          G D
Oh let it spill, let it spill, over the heart you love best.

Well I've got love in my blood, and I've got you on my brain.
- love blood, you brain -
I haven't got enough blood, I cannot love you enough.
- got love, enough? -

If you've got love in your blood, if it is bolder than death
- love blood, bolder? -
Oh let it spill, let it spill, over the heart you love best.
- spill blood, heart best? -
Well I've got love in my blood, and I've got you on my brain.
- love blood, you brain -
I haven't got enough blood, I cannot love you enough.

Biography

King Charles is a singer-songwriter whose sound has been described as everything from psychedelic rock to folk-pop. Born and raised in London, Charles fell in love with country music, took up the guitar, and was writing his own music by the age of 17.

Following a year at Durham University, Charles returned to London in 2007 without a degree but with the new moniker ‘King Charles’. He formed a band, Adventure Playground, who along with other like-minded souls, made West London’s Bosun’s Locker their base.
