Am F G C
Rain spat in my face, thanks a lot mate
   Am F G C
And I lost a tenner on the way
Am F G
Thinking about it, did I spend it last night
     C Am F G C
When I was drunk and I wanted to get more drunk

Am F
Missed the train, thanks a lot mate
G C Am F C
I didn't want to be late today, cause I'm always late
     Am F G
And I really hate always being late
    C Am G C
And now the other train is delayed... great.

Am F G
Carrying bags and a navy taxi man said
           C
"Take your time love
  Am F G C
'Cause you don't have to rush
            Am F G C
'Cause it's your life and it's no one else's, sweetheart
Am F G C
Don't let someone put you in a box."

     Am F G
So I take all that other stuff that I said before
        C Am
And I'm gonna make it work
           F G C F G C
'Cause I'm losing my mind and it's driving me up the wall
     Am F
So I tried to help you carry your shopping
     G C
But I wasn't concentrating, I was talking
    Am F G C
And I got it caught on the side of this thing and it split
        Am F G C
And I'd try to help you walk along but I'd probably end up pushing you over
        Am F G C
But don't worry, I'll never let you fall

        Am F
And I'm stubborn and I shout and I'll cut you out
    G C Am F G C
And I'll make you feel like I never wanted to make you feel

        Am F
And I'm stubborn and I shout and I'll cut you out
    G C Am F G C
And I'll make you feel like I never wanted to make you feel

'Cause it's your life and it's no one else's, sweetheart
Am F G C
Don't let someone put you in a box."

     Am F G

On the line “Do trollies still drive?” there is additional chord change – above “still” there should be an Fm.
