Intro: Am Em7 F

Verse:
Am
While this town is busy sleeping,
Em
All the noise has died away.
Am
I walk the streets to stop my weeping,
Am Em
'Cause she'll never change her ways.

Chorus:
Fmaj7
Don't fool yourself,
Fmaj7 Em
She was heartache from the moment that you met her.
Fmaj7
Ah, my heart feels so still
Fmaj7 C
As I try to find the will to forget her, somehow.
Em Am
Ooh, I think I've forgotten her now.

Interlude: Am Em7 F

Verse:
Am
Her love is a rose, pale and dying.
Em
Dropping her petals in land unknown
Am
All full of wine, the world before her,
Am Em
Was sober with no place to go.

Chorus:
Fmaj7
Don't fool yourself,
Fmaj7 Em
she was heartache from the moment that you met her.
Fmaj7
My heart is frozen still
Fmaj7 C
As I try to find the will to forget her, somehow.
Em Am
   She's somewhere out there now.

Solo: Am Em

Bridge:
Am Em7 F Am
Well my tears falling down as I try to forget,
Am Em7 F Am
Her love was a joke from the day that we met.
Am Em7 F Am
All of the words, all of her men,
Am Em7 F Am
All of my pain when I think back to when.
Am Em7 F Am
Remember her hair as it shone in the sun,
Am Em7 F Am
The smell of the bed when I knew what she'd done.
Am Em7 F E
Tell yourself over and over you won't ever need her again.

Chorus:
Fmaj7
Don't fool yourself,
Fmaj7 Em
she was heartache from the moment that you met her.
Fmaj7
My heart is frozen still
Fmaj7 C
As I try to find the will to forget her, somehow.
Em E
   She's somewhere out there now.

Fmaj7
Oh,
Fmaj7 Em
She was heartache from the day that i first met her.
Fmaj7
My heart is frozen still
Fmaj7 C
As i try to find the will to forget you somehow
Em Am
Cause i know you're somewhere out there right now.
