Intro: B Gb E E

Verse 1:
B Gb
You walked into the room
                        E
And now my heart's been stolen
B Gb E
You took me back in time to when I was unbroken
                 Abm
Now you're all I want
              Gb E
And I knew it from the very first moment
                   Abm Gb
Cause a light came on when I heard that song
                  E
And I want you to sing it again

Chorus:
B Gb
I swear that every word you sing
               E
You wrote them for me
     B Gb
Like it was a private show
                     E
But I know you never saw me
                Abm Gb
When the lights come on and I'm on my own
                     E
Will you be there to sing it again
      B Gb E
Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories
         B B
Can I be him

Verse 2:
B Gb E
I heard there was someone but I know he don't deserve you
B Gb E
If you were mine I'd never let anyone hurt you -no no-
                  Abm Gb
I wanna dry those tears, kiss those lips
                        E
It's all that I've been thinking about
                   Abm Gb
Cause a light came on when I heard that song
                  E
And I want you to sing it again

Chorus:
B Gb
I swear that every word you sing
               E
You wrote them for me
     B Gb
Like it was a private show
                     E
But I know you never saw me
                Abm Gb
When the lights come on and I'm on my own
                     E
Will you be there to sing it again
      B Gb E
Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories

Bridge:
             E Eb7
Can I be the one
             Abm B
Can I be the one
             E Eb7
Can I be the one
             Abm Gb
Oh, can I, can I be him

          B Gb
Won't you sing it again
             E
Oh, when you sing it again

Can I be him
      B Gb
Won't you sing it again
             E
Oh, when you sing it again

Can I be him

Chorus:
B Gb
I swear that every word you sing
               E
You wrote them for me
     B Gb
Like it was a private show
                     E
But I know you never saw me
                Abm Gb
When the lights come on and I'm on my own
                     E
Will you be there
      B Gb E
Could I be the one you talk about in all your stories
         B Gb
Can I be him
         E
Can I be him
         B Gb
Can I be him
