Type of girl to remain

With the guy, with the guy too shy

Begging, begging you please

Amen! We as humans are a work in progress, and in this society it can be easy to forget that God is putting His very best into you to make you more like Him. We in our sin and mess are precious to Him and He wants you to come to Him with your burdens. Like the lyrics say, He is making you new in Him and He willingly forgets our sins when we request forgiveness. Our God is a loving, merciful, and perfect God who died for the many who have come before, for the many who are here now, and for the many yet to come. God can see everything you do and knows when you mess up, but also knows when you do good. You’ve likely heard that integrity is doing the right thing when no one’s looking, and that sounds accurate but the truth is, God is always looking. So when you find it hard to do the right thing, remember that He is watching. He knows your heart and He knows how difficult it can be to keep going. He commands you to be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
For those who are already feeling firm in their faith, I admire you and I am so glad for you. Remember that without love, the greatest actions are meaningless. 1 John 4:8 says that whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. So love others, please! Love God and love your neighbors. That goes out to everyone, to all of you. To those struggling and those strong. To those doubtful and those with faith. To those depressed and those happy. To those sinful and those forgiven (hint: you’re both).
Love,
Red
