Intro -x2-: B Dbm B Dbm

Verse 1:
              B Dbm
It's a little touch and go
                 B Dbm
You could be the crutch that she holds
              B Dbm
Got herself a sprained ankle
                 B Dbm
If you know, you know
                  B Dbm
Bad things always come in threes
                    B Dbm
When you broke your thumb, you lost your keys
                B Dbm
She plays for a different team
             B Dbm
Scraping her knees

Chorus:
Abm B E Dbm
But it's all the same to you
Abm B E Dbm
When she's standing in your room
Abm B E Dbm
  On an endless afternoon
Abm B E Db
  And the summer's over soon

Instrumental -x2-: B Dbm B Dbm

Verse 2:
              B Dbm
Maybe she's a late bloomer
                B Dbm
Or maybe it's a fake rumor
                   B Dbm
But you've got the same sense of humor
 B Dbm
As her
B
 She's always at thе wheel
Dbm
  You're often on her street
B
You don't know how to feel
Dbm
You don't know how to sleep
B
 Like it'll nеver heal
Dbm
Your heart's still in the weeds
B
 Straight off the soccer field
Dbm
  She's still wearing her cleats

Chorus:
Abm B E Dbm
But it's all the same to you
Abm B E Dbm
When she's standing in your room
Abm B E Dbm
  On an endless afternoon
Abm B E Db
  And the summer's over soon

Bridge:
Dbm Db
If it's all a waste of time -All a waste of time-
Dbm Db
If it's all a silver lining -All a silver lining-
Dbm Db
If it's all a warning sign -All a warning sign-
Dbm E
If she's always on your mind -Always on your-

Instrumental -x2-: B Dbm B Dbm

Outro:
                B Dbm
Nothing you can do either
                 B Dbm
Old crush on the new teacher
                B Dbm
Wave as soon as you see her
             B Dbm
From the bleachers
