remember keys
G
I wanna be drunk when I wake up
                  D Em
On the right side of the wrong bed

And every excuse I made up

Tell you the truth I hate
      C
What didn't kill me
                          D G
It never made me stronger at all.

G
Love will scar your make-up lip sticks to me
             D Em
So now I'll maybe leave back there
                                  C
I'm sat here wishing I was sober
                                     D G
I know I'll never hold you like I used to.

         Em D
But our house gets cold when you cut the heating
 G C
Without you to hold I'll be freezing
Em D
Can't rely on my heart to beat it
G C
'Cause you take part of it every evening
Em D
Take words out of my mouth just from breathing
G C G
Replace with phrases like when you're leaving me.

       D C
Should I, should I?
         Em G
Maybe I'll get drunk again
       Em G
I'll be drunk again
       Em G
I'll be drunk again
                  C D
To feel a little love

I wanna hold your heart in both hands
I'll watch it fizzle at the bottom of a Coke can
And I've got no plans for the weekend
So shall we speak then
Keep it between friends
Though I know you'll never love me like you used to.

There maybe other people like us
You see the flicker of the clip when they light up
Flames just create us, burns don't heal like before
You don't hold me anymore.

On cold days Coldplay's out like the band's the name
I know I can't heal things with a hand shake
You know I can't change as I began saying
You cut me wide open like landscape
Open bottles of beer but never champagne
We'll applaud you with the sound that my hands make.

Should I, should I?
Maybe I'll get drunk again
I'll be drunk again
I'll be drunk again
To feel a little love.

Em G
All by myself

I'm here again
Em G
All by myself

You know I'll never change
Em G
All by myself
C D Em
All by myself
         Em G
I'm just drunk again
         Em G
I'll be drunk again
         Em G
I'll be drunk again
                  C D
To feel a little love

  1. In the first verse, I think it sounds better if you play the C on “excuse”. Then on ‘What’ as in “what didn’t kill me” you play Am and then back to C for the last line of that verse. Just an idea!

  2. Wutthecookie

It sounds much better if you transpose +2 . I struggle with E, so I replaced it with D in some areas and E7 in others . Hope you find this at least a little helpful ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

  3. okay IMO +2 sounds a lot better than the non-transposed version; however, it’s very obnoxious when chords end halfway through a song. please fix! :)

    What’s the strumming pattern?

  5. yeah i agree with everyone else. could you possibly add in the notes for the rest of the song?

  6. Hey, can you put the chords in all the song ?, Thanks

  7. introvert

Hey so it would be very helpful if you could put up the rest of the chords along with lyrics whrn it stops ….. thxs

  8. I agree, it’s a great tab but hard to follow once the notes stop :( Thanks!! <3

  9. gabber917

Yeah would be a lot better if the chords didn’t stop in the middle.. please consider adding them in so it’s easier to follow along with :)

  10. I don’t understand. This doesn’t sound right at all?

  11. Same here, its great but its really hard to follow along with the notes stopping half way through the song.
