Intro: Em Em Em Em

Verse:
Em
Everyone I love is gonna die
    Em Em
And I will die as well

I think about this before I sleep
Em Em
And have since I was a child

In my life, will I make a difference?
Em Em
In my death, will I be missed?

Will I be granted some sort of an afterlife?
Em Em
Or will I just cease to exist?
                             Em
This fear makes me feel so naïve
                           Em
I wish that I could just accept

But I'm chilled by the redundancy of
Em Em
Thoughts collected, but not kept
                                        Em
And maybe I'm still a stupid, little boy
                                 Em
Too weak to understand what will come

I want to find peace of mind
Em Em
Maybe no mind is the answer to that conundrum

Pre-Chorus:
                       G
And oh, I want to be a baby again
A7sus2 Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want pure thoughts in my head

Chorus:
Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want to be a baby again
Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want pure thoughts in my head
Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want to be a baby again
Em G
  Oh, I want to forget
A7sus2 Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want to be a baby again
Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want pure thoughts in my head
Em G A7sus2
Oh, I want to be a baby again
Em G A7sus2
  Oh, I want to forget

Interlude: Em Em Em Em

Em
Everyone I love is gonna die
    Em Em

Biography

Crywank are a two-piece DIY folk band from Manchester, England. They focus mostly on sad songs.

Crywank started in 2009 with Jay Clayton attempting to do some folk-punk influenced acoustic music with no previous experience playing guitar. The first album “James is going to die soon” was inspired by a painful break up. Jay stated that “I wrote these songs out of frustration and sadness and they ended up making me feel a lot better, I hope they have a similar effect on you”.
