Verse 1:
E A B
I bought us the tickets to a show this weekend
E A B
And I was dancing, you're in the corner standing
E Abm
I wish you'd dance with me
A B
But you don't seem to be into it
E Abm
And right then, it hit me
A B -nc-
I'm sorry, I just don't get it

Chorus:
E Abm A C B
I wish I liked you as much as I like my favorite band
E Abm A C B
It's not your fault, it's mine, I'm just a kid like Simple Plan
E Abm A C B
And in the morning you could drive me home, put on your playlist
E Abm A C B
I just don't like you as much as I like my favorite band

Verse 2:
E A B
We're hangin' out again, I'm wondering what I came here for
E A B
When I could be at home with my headphones and Paramore
E A B
And I hate to say it, but to me, your taste isn't that good
E
And Hayley just gets me
A B nc
The way you never did

Chorus:

Bridge:
Abm A
Kissing in the rain and I feel nothing
B A
But oh, what a shame to let you go
Abm A
Honestly, I should've seen it coming
B A
When you said you didn't like All Time Low
Abm A
Bound to fail
B A
Pierce The Veil
Abm A
Close my eyes, tryna feel something
B A
Put on my favorite song
Abm A B A
And I can tell that you're just bluffing, trying to sing along

Chorus:

I find it easy to play +1 and swapping the E with an E7, and for the bulk of the song, I pluck the G string then the E and A string together.
So it would go like:
Am(G-AE-AE) G(G-AE-AE) F(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
C(G-AE-AE-AE-AE) E7(G-AE-AE-AE-AE)
And repeat

cooper

I cant stand the e chord. By far the hardest

kaylee_winn42

+1 is super easy and sounds great! I play E minor instead of just E.

dorothy

transpose it to +1, use E7 instead of E, and the strumming pattern i use is D-DU-UDU but only use a D-DU on some quicker parts. for example
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
I want you by my side
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
so that i never feel alone again
Am(D-DU) G(D-DU) F(D-DU-UDU)
They’ve always been so kind
C(D-DU-UDU) E(D-DU-UDU)
But now they’ve brought you away from here
(and so on)

and then for the chorus i use the full strumming pattern for every chord besides Am and use D-DU for Am only

hope i helped!
