dee

i think you left out a verse, the one that goes “did you and your friends have fun on the weekend” before the bridge

Elli

thats part of the new version of the song, this is just the original one. I do lowkey want the newer one too tho

quinnv

it sounds most like the original in -5. for the new verse, take out the chorus between verse 1 and 2, add the chorus between 2 and 3. 3 is going to be G for the first line as every other verse is that, but you do the first interlude line for “but nothing feels better than sleeping and sleeping in”, and then the other half of the interlude for “watch as my head falls away from the room, I would hug all my friends if they weren’t friends with you” and that transitions right into the bridge.
Hope that helps! :)

Fruit loop soup

you’re a mf god my dude

trying to learn uke

oh my god thank you

The gayest lesbian in all the land

bro thank you so much

dizzy

in the verses where its c c the second c is on the 7th fret not the 3rd and i also like to add the c to the last strum of the f in the last interlude.

barbarabogdan

The strumming pattern is: d dudu

Ukulele

For this song, I didn’t like the chords because it was hard to find out what key I was singing in. So, I listened to the beginning over and over again until I got the chords on my uke. I would use G, Bm7, B7, Em, C, and then Cm. These are the actual chords and you can play directly with the song without being off-key.

Ukulele

And these chords that I’m using are also the chords for “We Are The Crystal Gems” by Steven Universe.

Ellisoneaton

But those are only 6 chords and the song shows 8?

Ellisoneaton

Nevermind I just continued playing em instead of changing the chord for that part and it worked, thank you :)

GiveMeOatMilk

Lol I cried when I learned this

Andy

If you’re looking for the original sound I would go to -5 it sounds most like the original :)

LeifCG

and replace Gadd9 with B

Lel

If you add the octave and then merge to 7, It’s pretty cool too

Mr. Madison

Instead of playing F, I lift my middle finger so I’m just holding the top fret of the e string and play that instead. They don’t sound all that different but in my opinion that sounds better than F and it flows nicer with the Fm.
