Bon Jovi Biography
Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The current lineup features singer Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarists Phil X and John Shanks, percussionist Everett Bradley, and bassist Hugh McDonald. Founding bassist Alec John Such left in 1994, and longtime guitarist and co-songwriter Richie Sambora departed in 2013.
The band first gained attention with their 1984 self-titled debut album, propelled by the Top 40 single "Runaway.
