        D
There's glass in the park
           Em A
Darling, I can't help but keep making
  G A
Appointments to sweep
              D
Beneath the climbing frame

       D
If the Sun's in your eyes,
                  Em A
I'll tighten your blindfold, baby
                 G A
Don't worry your foot won't get cut strut
D Dmaj7
Carelessly

Em A
And when you say that you need me tonight
  D Dmaj7 Gmaj7
I can't keep my feelings in disguise
G Gbm Em G Gb Gb7 Bm Em Gb -let ring-
The white part of my eye-balls il-lumi-nates

G D
  And I'll wait for you
          G D Dmaj7
As if I'm waiting for a stone to stop
Em
   I've heard them talking
              A A7
About how I'm gonna put you off

        D
There's glass in the park
                 Em A
And now that I'm up off my knees
     G A
I've picked up the speed
             D
To jump your palaces

      D
And I shoot through the night
             Em A
And suddenly all those once lost
G A
  concoctions froth
              D Dmaj7
And chase the day away

Em A
And when you say that you need me tonight
  D Dmaj7 Gmaj7
I can't keep my feelings in disguise
G Gbm Em G Gb Gb7 Bm Em Gb -let ring-
The white part of my eye-balls il-lumi-nates

G D
  And I'll wait for you
          G D Dmaj7
As if I'm waiting for a stone to stop
Em
   I've heard them talking
              A A7
About how I'm gonna put you off
G Gb7
You tell me, how can I put you off when you're a matter of urgency?
           Bm D7
I've got a million things that I need to do, but they're all secondary
G A
  Make sure you're not followed
D Bm
Meet me by the Death Balloon

Em A A7
Paraselene woman, I'm your man in the Moon
           G Gbm Em G Gb
And like a grain of diamond dust, you float
     G A D
And my devotion's outer crust cracks.

either +4 or -1 worked really well for me and I have a tiny hand.

Daniela Swei Lo

Is it just me or does Ab sounds awkwardly off?

-1

-3 is best for my lower voice

khaleesi

I prefer +4, it’s easier to sing this way!

MADMAX

This song hurt my voice a bit. Also, if you want to do Dd for -1 it is hard to do it with the capo. I just changed it to D.

jeanenchanted

For the GRAMMY version, do -1 but without a capo. Sounds amazing

Julia

I do the traditional island strum for this songs which is: UUDUDU
Love you all! <3

Liz_garvey

transpose -1 and put the capo on fret 3.

ooopsnevermind

On the line “He’s so bad but he does it so well”, I prefer playing D instead of G, and during the bridge I prefer Em to G, such as in “You see me in hindsight.”
