Verse 1:
             C
Love how you disagree
            G
to tell me that I'm wrong
           F
when every bone is healed
           G
and every stitch is sewn
              C
I've got some words to share
              G
but you don't like my tone
              F
I've got some words to share
               G
She won't pick up her phone
              C
She's got some medicine
              G
She's choking on the pills
              F
She shouldn't feel this way
            G
a lack of social skills
             C
He'll take her out tonight
              G
She'll have an awesome time
           F
The only thing that's lost
              G
is the only thing that's mine

Chorus:
    F G
And I'm gonna get on my knees
                         C
Would you kick me in the face please?
              C
It'll make whatever I say
             F
sound like poetry
                           G
And as my gums begin to bleed
                         C
the words will fall like teeth
        C
and whatever we had locked up now is free

Verse 2:
        C
You're talking with your friends
                G
Secrets they'll never keep
               F
They're sitting on your bed
             G
And all you want is sleep
              C
Pretend that this is fake
             G
It helps to kill the pain
              F
All that you want is different
              G
All that you'll get is same
               C
There's nothing more to say
              G
I think I've said it all
             F
I'm sitting on the edge
             G
I'm waiting for the fall
             C
I'll check my messages
              G
They'll say you want a fight?
             F
I'm turning off my phone
              G
How high were you last night?

Chorus:
    F G
And I'm gonna get on my knees
                         C
Would you kick me in the face please?
              C
It'll make whatever I say
             F
sound like poetry
                           G
And as my gums begin to bleed
                         C
the words will fall like teeth
        C
and whatever we had locked up now is free

    F G
And I'm gonna get on my knees
                         C
Would you kick me in the face please?
              C
It'll make whatever I say
             F
sound like poetry
                           G
And as my gums begin to bleed
                         C
the words will fall like teeth
        C
and whatever we had locked up now is free

Bridge:
         C G F G
And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now
         C G F G
And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now
        C G F G
And I'm scared I'm gonna die as lonely as I feel right now

    F G
And I'm gonna get on my knees
                         C
Would you kick me in the face please?
              C
It'll make whatever I say
             F
sound like poetry
                           G
And as my gums begin to bleed
                         C
the words will fall like teeth
        C
and whatever we had locked up now is free

    F G
And I'm gonna get on my knees
                         C
Would you kick me in the face please?

bluebelugawhale

does anyone have the strumming pattern

Jack

I replace Dbdim with D and use DDUUDU as a strumming pattern. It sounds like a good acustic version, at least to me. then with the outro I play the first three strings (in this order C, E and G) on each chord (without C chord) twice and then I slowly strum each string on a C chord. It looks like this:

Am D F Fm
A ————————————————————
E —-0————2————1—————1————
C -0———–2————0—————0—————-
G ——2————2————2—————1———-

x2, and then:

C
A —–3—————————
E —–0————————–
C —–0————————–
G —–0—————————

-5
