Verse 1:
           Dmaj7
She’s taken over
                                 Bm7
She’s making me want your body closer
                                 Db7
Having a little trouble staying sober
                                Gbm7 -xE-x
And she’s got us all under her trance

Verse 2:
           Dmaj7
Oh she’s elusive -I know-
                         Bm7
She only rises with the music
                                       Db7
And all of my dreams, they’re growing lucid
                               Gbm7
That’s how you know she’s up to dance
                        Gbm7 -xE-x
To dance, to dance, to dance

Pre-Chorus 1:
    Dmaj7
And now she’s taking over me
                    Bm7
A new notch on her belt, yeah
                             Db7
And your face gleams like a prophecy
                     Gbm7
I might just lose myself, yeah

Chorus:
                         Dmaj7
And I couldn’t care less -uh-
                     Bm7
I couldn’t care less, baby
                                Db7
Feeling just a little careless lately
                           Gbm7 -xE-x
Push me back and pull me under -ah-ah-
                    Dmaj7
She got me possessed -uh-
                     Bm7
Now, I’m looking to get hasty
                                         Db7
And I just want your body pressed against me
                        Gbm7
Take me down to lift me high

Take me down to lift me high
E
Higher, higher, ooh!

Verse 3:
Dmaj7
White flames on her torch, they’re licking on the air tonight -uh-
     Bm7
Chariot skid marks all over the gravel behind my eyes
         Db7
Take my hand 'cause when this ends, I run
         Db7
No-man’s-land sounds like a woman’s fun
        Gbm7
We got all night long
           Gbm7 E
Oh wontcha give it to me, give it to me, ah

Pre-Chorus 2:
    Dmaj7 Bm7
And oh she’s bubbling up again, and I do as I’m told
                      Db7
May be losing all my self-control

Chorus:
                         Dmaj7
And I couldn’t care less -uh-
                     Bm7
I couldn’t care less, baby
                                Db7
Feeling just a little careless lately
                           Gbm7 -xE-x
Push me back and pull me under -ah-ah-
                    Dmaj7
She got me possessed -uh-
                     Bm7
Now, I’m looking to get hasty
                                         Db7
And I just want your body pressed against me
