Verse:
         Am
It was a fun,
         Em7
Strange summer
         Dm F G
I rolled on, didn't think of you

         Am
We lost touch
          Em7
With each other
      Dm
Fall came
              F G
And I had to move

Pre-Chorus:
 Dm F
Movin' backwards, hurt comes after
 C G
Healin' doesn't happen in a straight line

Chorus:
     Am Em7
If I cry just a little and then laugh in the middle
     Dm7 F G
If I hate you and I love you, and then I change my mind

      Am Em7
If I need just a little more time to deal with the fact
          Dm7
That you shoulda treated me right
          F G Am
Then I'm more than just a little justified

     Em7
Mmm, mmm
     Dm7
Mmm, mmm

     F G Am
I'm more than just a little justified

Verse:
              Em7
To touch somebody
            Dm
You know I tried
              F
To make that you

 G Am
And when you lied,
                Em7
Said you didn't want me
                  Dm
Tell me, what was I
            F G
Supposed to do?

Pre-Chorus:
 Dm F
Movin' on was, feeling strong but
 C G
Healin' doesn't happen in a straight line

Chorus:
     Am Em7
If I cry just a little and then laugh in the middle
     Dm7 F G
If I hate you and I love you, and then I change my mind

      Am Em7
If I need just a little more time to deal with the fact
          Dm7
That you shoulda treated me right
          F G Am
Then I'm more than just a little justified

If I want you and I call you, then I change my mind

      Am Em7
If I need just a little more time to deal with the fact
        Dm7
That I shoulda treated you right
     F
I'm more than just a little

Chorus:
     Am Em7

If I need just a little more time to deal with the fact
          Dm
That you shoulda treated me right
          F G Am
Then I'm more than just a little justified

Mmm, mmm, mmmmm
           Dm7
Mmm, mmm, mmmmm

     F G Am
I'm more than just a little justified
