Verse 1 :
         C Em
I feel low for the reaper, he's on his own
        G Bm D
Pulls up to the house 'cause he don't have a home
          C Em
Let him crash on his couch 'til he pays off his loans
         G Bm D
  I swear
    C Em
I told him what it is when we spoke on the phone
             G Bm D
Leave your job at the door, there's no workin' from home
              C Em
When you're friends with the reaper, you never know
         G
  I swear

Chorus :
                    C G
But when she comes my way
    B Em
I hope that she's from out of town
                 C G
  Passin' through just today
                 Bm D7
  She's got plans
               C G
I'll sit down with my roommate
      B Em
And tell him to start movin' out
         C
  'Cause I'll stick with her
           D
  She's my reaper's killer

Post-Chorus :
C G B Em
   La-la, la-la, la-la, la-da-da-da
C G Bm D7
  La-la, she's got plans

Verse 2 :
    C Em
I feel for the reaper, been a good friend
          G Bm D
But all good and lonely things have to come to an end
    C Em
I hope we stay in touch with the letters we send
         G Bm D
  I swear
    C Em
I know you'll understand when you look at your phone
               G Bm D
You got your job and your coat but you're working alone
              C Em
When you're friends with the reaper, you never know
         G
  I swear

Chorus :
                    C G
But when she comes my way
    B Em
I hope that she's from out of town
                 C G
  Passin' through just today

As an intermediate it would be super helpful if a strumming pattern was provided. Otherwise, thank you, thank you. I always thought this would be great to learn on the uke!
