Intro -x2-: B Db Ebm Gb Gb

Verse 1:
B Db
There's delays on the planes out of Eastern Montana
          Ebm Gb Gb
Where you told me you were leaving from
B Db
You’ve been stabbed in the back and the rest of your body
          Ebm Gb Gb
Won't you tell me where you're bleeding from
B Db
If you need a tourniquet or if you wanna turn and quit
Ebm Gb Gb
Know that I’ll be by your side
B Db
You bled your whole soul into things you can't control
     Ebm Gb Gb
In a world you'll never satisfy

Chorus:
                  Ebm Gb Gb B
I'll bandage up your body and your bones and your bad days too
      Ebm Gb Gb B
Take care of the blood that your love runs through
               Ebm Gb Gb B
I know all the damage that some days in this dark world does
     Ebm Gb Gb B
You laughin' last evening at something I dreamed of

Verse 2:
         B Db
When you finally feel the blood you spill into everybody else
     Ebm Gb Gb
I'll tourniquet your toes to the ground
B Db
Pull you in and hold you tight, love you through the heart of night
Ebm Gb Gb
Spring your kind ass into town
B Db
You've been playin' your guitar from arenas to the bars
               Ebm Gb Gb
Since you were old enough to rhyme a word
         B Db
But your face is getting thinner and you're praying for the winter
      Ebm Gb Gb
And I heard you xxxxed it up with her

Chorus:
