Hey, all you people who need strumming patterns!
Apparently, we aren’t aloud to ask for them, and this is what the website says under the message button:

Carefully listen to the song and try to really “feel” the rhythm. Once you get the basics of strumming, I can assure you it’ll go real quick. Maybe the strumming guide can help you on your way.
Just for you to see it! That’s all…

  3. Top Ukulele Lover

I love this song! I already know it on the Uku, but it’s still awesome!

  4. Omg one of the first songs i learned, nice to see Ukutabs is sharing my love for the song

  5. I have always done -1
    Am-DDUUDU
    G-DDUUDU
    C-DDUUDU DDUUDU
But that’s just my opinion :)

  6. If you want an easier alternative for the chords use, Am, G and C and for the strumming pattern I think DDDU is pretty nice

  7. I recommend using -1 because it is really easy and sound really good once you have nailed the G

  8. I used dduududdu and it sounded really good. Also use -1, it is the easiest one with chord progressions and I think it sounds the most like the real riptide song.

  9. I lovvveee this song

  10. I dont really play from this one. i just google it and i find ones with only F,G, and Am

  11. FantasticJeem

I used c,g,am,and f for this song. It’s a lot easier and it sounds better.

  12. Just Trynna Help

-1 Am (dd dudu) G (dd dudu) C (dd dudu (x2))

  13. -1 everyone’s complaining about the hard chords it says to transpose -1 in the notes on the top. i use dduudu or dduud

  14. On “Take me away to the dark side” play F .3.

  15. I think +1 sounds really nice once you nail the Bm
