Intro: Gm. Ab

Verse:
    Dm
No matter where you go,
        C6
you’ll never have control
                Bb6

no one makes it out alive in paradise
 Dm
Picture you in summertime,
                          C6
drinkin' white wine in Antigua
                                 Bb6
Told me that you’ll see me and I see ya
                      A C6
And I really wanna believe ya, I do
  Dm
Singin' blues, no shoes on
                                          C6
Strummin' in the sun and you’ve got your feet up
                                                          Bb6
I remember when you used to tell me that you’d find your freedom
                  A C6
It was hard to believe ya

Pre-Chorus 1:
            Gm
'Cause you never feel enough,

it never fills you up
    Dm
And if lyin' on an island is
    Am
the closest that you’ll come
      Gm Am C

No matter where you go -Doesn't matter where you go-
        C6
You’ll never have control -No, no, no, no-
                 Bb6
Woke up feeling paralyzed -Yeah-

No one makes it out alive -Yeah-
   C6
In paradise -Yeah-

Verse 2:
 Dm
Picture me in the major leagues
                            C6
Livin' in a dream that I created, mhm
                                                 Bb6
I wrote my own books so I never had to read your pages
             A C6
I’ve got no patience for that anyway
   Dm
Sensations don’t mean anything

If I can just have everything
      C6
Some days I think I’ll run away
                          Bb6
What would I even do if I made it?
                A C6
I just keep on fading 'cause

Pre-Chorus 2:
    Gm Am C
I never feel enough, it never fills me up
      Dm
I’m climbin' up a giant rock,
      Am
I’ll never reach the top
       Gm Am C
But I can’t stop, I can’t stop, so

Chorus:
 Dm
No matter where you go -Doesn't matter where you go-
        C6
You’ll never have control -No, no, no, no-
                 Bb6
Woke up feeling paralyzed -Yeah-
                A
No one makes it out alive -Yeah-
   C6
In paradise -Yeah-
  Bb6
Paralyzed -Yeah-
                A C6
No one makes it out alive -Yeah- in paradise -Yeah-
