Chorus:
               A D
I went through Hell, to get to high water
            E A
And now I'm tryin' not to drown
                              D A
Each time I fail, it makes me try harder
               E A
I'll reach the stars next time around

Verse 1:
            E7 A
Tripped and fell, in the wishing well
           E E7 A
I hit rock bottom, pennies kept landin' face down
           D A
Lost all I wanted, lookin' for will
       E E7
Desire burnin', well

Chorus:
               A D
I went through Hell, to get to high water
            E A
And now I'm tryin' not to drown
                              D A
Each time I fail, it makes me try harder
               E A
I'll reach the stars next time around
