Intro: D D D D

Verse 1:
      Em7 G
I'm a wreck, I'm out of time, I barely made it out alive
        D C
I'm not bent, I'm not cracked, I'm just broken
              Em7 G
I watched the fire, burn the sea, I wrapped my car around a tree
        D C
Hold me up, underneath, this heavy burden

Pre-Chorus 1:
Em C G
There's a halo in the distance
Em C D
   Salvation's barely out of reach

Chorus 1:
G
    Torn apart like the brokenhearted
D
Up in smoke with the fire we started
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

G
Smash it up like there's no tomorrow
D
Leave me here with the fear and sorrow
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

Verse 2:
Em7 G
Tied up to a heart of stone, I screamed into a microphone
             D C
I burned the Bridge, so I won't find my way home
         Em7 G
Lay with me, I can't sleep, misery loves company
         D C
When I'm bent, when I'm cracked, when I'm broken

Pre-Chorus 2:
Em C G
There's a halo in the distance
Em C D
   Salvation's barely out of reach

Chorus 2:
G
    Torn apart like the brokenhearted
D
Up in smoke with the fire we started
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

G
Smash it up like there's no tomorrow
D
Leave me here with the fear and sorrow
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

G
    I don't need anyone
D
    I don't need anyone
Em
    I don't need anyone
C
    I don't need anyone, I don't need anyone

Bridge: G D Em C

G D
Fifteen times a night, when the sun's gone down
                                   Em
In the dark awake, and you're not around
                                        C
And the closest thought is the edge of oblivion

G D
Fifteen times a day when you check your phone
                                     Em
And I won't be there and you're all alone
                                       C
'Cause we always lived on the edge of oblivion

G D
Left to find our way through a Hitchcock film
                                Em
In an empty bed with an hour to kill
                                     C
'Cause it's only fun on the edge of oblivion -oblivion-

Chorus 3:
G
    Torn apart like the brokenhearted
D
Up in smoke with the fire we started
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

G
Smash it up like there's no tomorrow
D
Leave me here with the fear and sorrow
Em C
Misery loves company, I don't need anyone

G
    I don't need anyone
D
    I don't need anyone
Em
    I don't need anyone
C
I don't need anyone, I don't need anyone

Biography

Blink-182 is an American pop punk band formed in Poway, a suburb of San Diego, California in 1992. The band currently consists of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker, and guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba. Blink-182 is considered a key group in the development of pop punk; the band’s combination of pop melodies with fast-paced punk rock featured a more radio-friendly accessibility than prior bands except for Green Day and The Offspring.
