Intro -x2-: Bbm Gb Db Ab

         Bbm
 This is my confessional
Gb Db Ab
Pen and paper, I'm gonna write this down
          Bbm
 Saying things you never thought
Gb Db
 That were on my mind
                     Ab
 Let the truth pour out

           Bbm Gb
Cause I'm tired of the games
          Db Ab
 I won't lie, no I'm not ok
            Bbm Gb
You were wrong, you're to blame
          Db Ab
Now the world knows your name

     Bbm Gb
 So here you go
      Db Ab Bbm Gb
You finally get a song about you on the radio
          Db Ab
Are you happy now that you broke me down
        Bbm Gb
Now I curse the day that I met you
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you
          Bbm Gb
This was no mistake, yes I meant to
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you, about you
                     Bbm Gb Db Ab
 This song is about you

            Bbm
 Seems I'm feeling better now
Gb Db Ab
Like the weight I had's lifting off my chest
              Bbm
Should have done this months ago
Gb Db Ab
If I knew back then it would feel like this
             Bbm Gb
'Cause you done all the games
          Db Ab
 I won't lie, no I'm not ok
            Bbm Gb
You were wrong, you're to blame
          Db Ab
Now the world knows your name

      Bbm Gb
 So here you go
      Db Ab Bbm Gb
You finally get a song about you on the radio
          Db Ab
Are you happy now that you broke me down
        Bbm Gb
Now I curse the day that I met you
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you
          Bbm Gb
This was no mistake, yes I meant to
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you

           Bbm Gb
 When you hear this play
             Db Ab Bbm Gb
I hope you feel the same way that I felt that day
           Db Ab
That you let me, yeah you left me
         Bbm
 This is my confessional
Gb Db Ab
Pen and paper, I'm gonna write this down

 Bbm Gb
 So here you go
      Db Ab Bbm Gb
You finally get a song about you on the radio
          Db Ab
Are you happy now that you broke me down
        Bbm Gb
Now I curse the day that I met you
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you
          Bbm Gb
This was no mistake, yes I meant to
              Db Ab
I hope you know this song is about you, about you

About you, about you, about you
                     Bbm Gb
 This song is about you
                Db Ab
This song is about you, yeah
                Bbm Gb
 This song is about you
                Db Ab

I can do 4 chords and nothing else

At the start of quarantine, I got so sad I couldn’t play this – Bb was just too hard for me and I felt so disheartened. Now it’s November and I’m strumming like a champ 🙂 practice really does make perfect! (I’m aware that as of posting this it’s a relatively new arrangement, there was another version of this that I couldn’t play due to the Bb chord)

Kit-Kat Bar

I swear I don’t play for 1 week and now all the good songs are on! lol, anyway love to all who play and thi sis probably the only thing keeping me sane in quarentine.

Random Person

I am happy I have a ukulele so I can play songs. Its kept my spirits high during quarantine. I do find myself mostly playing Cavetown songs 😅 but, I mean, who can blame me, they are really fun to play, and I feel like most of Cavetowns songs mean something to everyone in different ways. Thats why I love music. It may be talking about one thing, sure, but to everyone who hears it, they could be interpreting it in another way. I love hearing different interpretations of songs and what everyone thinks its about and how it hits home for them. I love playing songs and seeing the different reactions and hearing feedback, and thank you uketabs for helping me learn them ☺️
