   Dbm Abm
We came here on his back
       E B B
And we caught your eye
    Dbm Abm
The salty ocean wind
         E B B
Made the seagulls cry
    Dbm Abm
The rocking of his house
       E B B
Had me holding on
      Dbm Abm
But I knew that I was safe
     E B
From there on out

Interlude: Dbm Abm E B B

    Dbm Abm
The waves that hit his face
E B B
Marked the past
        Dbm Abm
And the farrows on his skin
       E B
Oh how time goes fast

B Dbm Abm
And we are far, far from home
          E B
But we’re so happy
B Dbm Abm
Far from home, all alone
          E B
But we’re so happy

Interlude: Dbm Abm E B B

      Dbm Abm
After every sunny day
       E B B
Came a stormy night
            Dbm Abm
That’s when finner would say
          E B
Keep your heads held high

B Dbm Abm
And we are far, far from home
          E B
But we’re so happy
B Dbm Abm
Far from home, all alone
          E
But we’re so happy

Interlude: Dbm Abm E B B

           Dbm Abm
And we are far, far from home
          E B
But we’re so happy
B Dbm Abm
Far from home, all alone
          E B
But we’re so happy
