for the beginning part, keep one finger on the E sting on the 3rd fret. Starting on the 4th fret of the C string, go down a fret with each note. In the song, it sounds like “C E C E C E C E E”, like with every C pluck you move down. You can also just eyeball it, do whatever you think sounds right 🙂
