I didn't cry at graduation
G B C
Or when they screamed that we had made it
G B C
I think this town has expired on me
G B C
I've come to terms with all the bad memories

Chorus:

      G B7 C
So, I won't be at reunion ten years down the road
           G B7 C
But you'll see me, yeah, I bet you'll see me on the billboards

Billboards, on the billboards
G B C
Billboards, on the billboards

  G B C D
I can't believe I used to be caught up in what they say about me
   G B C
In retrospect, I must admit, I've always felt so incomplete
    G B C D
But this isn't even my hometown, I'm not even American
  G C D
I honestly would rather drown than have to move back here again
G C D G B D

The people come and go
          G B C
Yeah, one day, this place will be fully unrecognizable
      G B7 C
So, I won't be at reunion ten years down the road
D G B7 C

G B C
Billboards, on the billboards
G B C
Billboards, on the billboards

Bridge:
         G C
I wonder how long it takes for me to leave without a trace
           G C
And for my mark on this town to be completely erased
                G
Will they throw parties without me?
     C
Will they ever feel sorry?
    G C
For how they scarred me or forget all about me
G B C
Billboards, on the billboards
G B C
Billboards, on the billboards

-This is very unclear what they are saying, but the chords are there-

Billboards, on the billboards

Billboards, on the billboards

Wha, ha ha ha
