Intro -x2-: A D A D

             A
Oh well the world never seemed bigger
          D
Than the summer of '98
A
Living out in the suburbs
D
Planning my escape
    A
I grew my hair to my shoulders
          D
Formed a band with a couple of friends
        A
And we called ourselves The Devils Playhouse
     D
Influences like Bruce and the band

          D A
And we'd sing and play
 Gbm Dbm D
Simple three chord rock and roll
     D A
And miles away
     Gbm Dbm D
The other kids would just grow old
            D A E
But we're making our own way out
             D A E
Yeah we're making our own way out

Interlude: A D A D

            A
Well we'd practice every week in my bedroom
          D
While my parents were working in town
         A
And one morning in our school assembly
          D
Played a cover of "Don't Let Me Down"
        A
The performance was nervous and awkward
         D
But the passion was real and profound
         A
And the kids in the audience laughing
           D
While the band just looked at the ground

         D A
But the victory
         Gbm Dbm D
For the kids who believe in rock and roll
    D A
I know for me
        Gbm Dbm D
That performance lives, it never grows old
           D A E
But we're making our own way out
            D A E
Yeah we're making our own way out

          A
Well I'd give it all back just to do it again
         D
Yeah I'd turn back time, be with my friends
          A
Yeah I'd give it all back just to do it again
           D
Turn back time, be with my friends
          A
Yeah I'd give it all back just to do it again
 D
Turn back time and be with my friends
          A
Yeah I'd give it all back just to do it again
 D E
Turn back time, be with my friends
   A

-3 Is by far the easiest setting.

c0o0kie

+2 is way easier

The second to last bit (starts with “when all…”) needs to be repeated 4 times and the part after that (the outro) needs to be repeated 3 times. Also, before the second to last bit it shows “along” played 4 times when its supposed to be 3 but, i like using the 4th to kinda die down to play the following slower then build back up. 🙂 P.S.: c0o0kie, I totally agree, +2 is definitely easier to play and personally, to sing. Overall, this is a wonderful tab and I love to play it all the time!
