Intro -x2-: A Gbm7 D

A Gbm7
Pretend you're happy, pretend we're fine
D
I guess that's easier after all this time
A Gbm7
Talk about other girls then look in my eyes
D
I know you still hold on to us inside
       Bm7 E
But we watched that butterfly fly

A Gbm7 D
I'd give anything just to be with you again but it's not the right time
    A Gbm7
And I'd give anything just to feel you on my skin
    D A Gbm7
But it's not the right time and it'll never be the right time, will it?
             D
And it might never be the right time and that's the hardest part of it

Interlude: A Gbm7 D

A Gbm7 D
I keep you in my mind even, though you've gone
                                                A
Holding on to nothing's easier than, letting go
                   Gbm7
Stuck in the memory of what has been, just
D
Please don't love another like you loved me
       Bm7 E
'Cause time doesn't heal, it just leaves me asking why

Bm7 E
And I don't know why I feel this way
     A D Bm7
If I could I'd change, believe me
               E A D
I know that you feel the same, is it too late for saving?
   Bm7 D
Oh here I go again

       A Gbm7 D
'Cause I'd give anything just to be with you again but it's not the right time
    A Gbm7
And I'd give anything just to feel you on my skin
    D A Gbm7
But it's not the right time and it'll never be the right time, will it?
         D A Gbm7
It might never be the right time and that's the hardest part of it
         D
It might never be the right time and that's the hardest part of it.
