D Em G
I like you
D Em G
Girl you don't got nothing to prove to me
    D Em G
I know that times have been rough
         D Em G
For the both of us

          A A
But I'll pray for a change

               D Em
You see this world has lots to offer
         G A
But in time it will go dark,
             D Em
And if this love is what we say it is
     G A
I'm sure we will go far
             D Em
And with a girl as sweet as you
         G A D
There's not much else I can do
      Em
But fall for you

D Em G

      D Em
You know that I'm a wreck
        G
And I know you can't breathe
        D Em G
At the edge of my seat with each word
         D Em
As the months turn into years
       G D Em
Just know that I will wait... here,
     G
For you

           A A
Cause I prayed for a change

               D Em
You see this world has lots to offer
         G A
But in time it will go dark,
             D Em
And if this love is what we say it is
     G A
I'm sure we will go far
             D Em
And with a girl as sweet as you
         G A D
There's not much else I can do
      Em
But fall for you

I think it sounds better if when switching between the Em7 and Edim7 you only move the finger on the C string.

Love this song! It sounds great

Blue Ukulele

God I love the Beatles! They were a truly great band. No one can replace music like that, no matter how good they are…
(Yes, my music choices are firmly stuck in the 60s/70s and I am proud of that)

change the Edim7 to an Em6, and the C in the chorus to a Cmaj7.

Biography

Never Shout Never is an American powerpop band from Joplin, Missouri, originally formed in 2007 as a solo project by musician Christofer Drew Ingle (born February 11, 1991).

Drew showed the world that with the help of MySpace and great word of mouth, anyone with worthwhile work ethic and talent can start a monumental snowball effect towards success. After recording an EP by himself in his basement, NeverShoutNever! became an instant online success story, averaging over 40,000 online plays a day, and headlining shows throughout the Midwest.
