Verse 1:
Gb Ebm
There is a door to me
Gb Db
  I've never seen it
Gb Ebm Gb
Sometimes I get closer to it
       Db
But I've never found it
Gb Ebm Gb
At twilight I almost had it
                C D
But then the night fell
   Gb Eb Gb
I looked out at the dark and wondered
            Db Gbmaj7 Eb F Gbmaj7 Db
How could I have lost ii t?

Verse 2:
Gb Ebm
Then one night at the park
       Gbmaj7 Db
I saw it with my cheek in the dirt
 Gbmaj7 Eb
I couldn't move underneath the dark
 Gbmaj7 Gb Db Bbm
But at least I finally found iii- i - i- it
       Ab Ebm
It cried out a creak and opened
       Db Gb
To show me what's beyond it
       Ebm Db
a hopeless, a violence
     Ab Db
I named it: Love.

+3 feels easiest to me and fits higher voices 🙂
[my alto self can’t sing that low, though it still keeps the song on the lower end so it doesn’t make me dysphoric to sing it]
