Intro:
   D G E D
   Bm D Em7 D

Verse 1:
 D G
Well inside the steeple praised all of the people
      Em D
And summer, it shined with a sheen
       Bm A Em D
As we tumbled around in a terrible town till we left to remember the trees
 D G
Mamma's just thinking while daddy's out drinking
      Em D
And everyone's clenching their teeth
         Bm A G D
As that pain whipped around and made terrible sounds till it bruised both my sisters and me

Chorus:
          Bm A
I don't think like you
         G D
I don't want you to
         Bm A
You can come right in
         G D
I won't pick or choose

Instrumental: D A G Em D

Verse 2:
 D G
Tangled like sweater threads knotted togеther
 E D
Against every wish of our will
         Bm A G D
I won't opеn my door until you open yours so I know you won't slam it on me
 D
Both of us laughing
       G
We're calm but we're cacklin'
                 Em D
The ever slight droop of your lip
        Bm A G D
Look I know I ain't much but I'm patient enough to know I can't keep waiting on me

Chorus:
         Bm A
I don't feel like you
         G D
I don't need you to
         Bm A
You can waltz right in
       G D
I was made for you
         Bm A
I don't feel like you
         G D
I don't need you to
         Bm A
You can waltz right in
       G D
I was made for you

I’ve found that the best way to learn GV’s songs is by watching her play on You Tube. You might have to hit pause and do some experimenting but she usually plays fairly EZ chords and Uke chords aren’t all that hard to finger out. And that’s why we LOVE THE UKE!

Grace makes the best music its like she made her own genre it does not sound like pop or countrey or rock or rap or anything else if there was a name for her genre it would be called vanderwaal music.
