G
I watch re-runs of the Jersey Shore
       D
Snooki drank too much, now she's on the floor
       Em
It's a feeling that I've felt before
          A
Though it was not televised

G
I don't mind, I don't get upset
          D
And you're watching me while I'm watching it
           Em
I'm just curious I'm a scientist
        A
But you think that I'm depressed

   G
I watch reality TV
      D
Just look at what it's done to me
  Em
I can't believe that nothing means
    A
Not half of what it did
G
I don't mind, I don't get upset
     D
But I haven't left my bedroom yet
     Em
And getting dressed was an accomplishment
       A
So you win, you win, you win
    Am
You win, you win

       Cm
Don't tell me where you've been

      Gm
Don't tell me what you did
          Cm
-what you did-
X
When you were gone

G D
Me, I guess I'm still something of an amateur
                          Em
You'd think that I would know by now
       A
Season 8 and I ain't figured it out
G D
So, on film I keep getting my feelings hurt
                      Em
Or saying things you don't deserve
      A
Or imprinting on you like a werewolf-
G D
-in love I did, you don't get my references
              Em
What if I met someone who did
                A
Did it all sound better in your head
     G D
That movie was so offensive but it got me through November
       Em A
Even though I will swear up and down that I wish that I knew better

  Am
I wish I did

       Cm
Don't tell me where you've been
       Gm
Don't tell me what you did
           Cm
-what you did-
                G
When you were gone

        G
When it gets so bad that it’s almost good
              D
I'll move to San Francisco or Hollywood
         Em
I won't write you like you wish I would
         A
But I'll miss you all the same
G
You won't mind, you won't get upset
          D
Once you change, all you want is the audience
         Em
They are obviously all narcissists
          A
Me, I just love turning off my brain

    Am
One big escape
                     Cm
Don't tell me at all
-don't tell me where you've been-
                Gm
I don't want to know
-don't tell me what you did-

A Am
I'll just watch it over and over on the show
