Intro: Db

      Bbm Db Db
I can remember the good 'ol days
              Gb Db
Where you and me we used to hide away
           Gb Db Ab
Where the stars were shining or the sun was blinding our eyes
    Bbm Db Db
Yea you filled up my glass
        Gb Db
With promises that could never last
        Gb Db Ab
But I still find pieces of you in the back of my mind...

               Gb
And all of the things that we once said;
               Db Ab
Are not in my heart they're in my head
          Gb
That was time to say goodbye
                 Db Ab
Let's put it to rest yhea let it die...

Bbm Gb Ab
'Cause we don't - we don't need to talk about this now
                   Db Db Bbm
Yhea we've been down that road before
           Gb Ab
That was then and this is now
Bbm Gb Ab
The crowds in my heart they been calling out your name
Db Db Bbm
Now it just don't feel the same
           Gb Ab
Guess it's over yhea we're done

             Bbm Db Db
I heard you made your way down town
      Gb Db
To the place I been hanging around
      Gb Db
I was looking for your face in the crowd
                            Ab
But trying keep my head down...
     Bbm Db Db
Over time our wires crossed
         Gb Db
When you changed and the truth got lost
 Gb Db
All the things I would change
                     Ab
If we could only re-wind

                    Gb
You were a moment in life that comes and goes
             Db Ab
a riddle a rhyme that no one knows
                     Gb
a change of the heart a twist of fate
           Db Ab
Couldn't fix it it's too late

Bbm Gb Ab
'Cause we don't - we don't need to talk about this now
                   Db Db Bbm
Yhea we've been down that road before
           Gb Ab
That was then and this is now
Bbm Gb Ab
The crowds in my heart they been calling out your name
Db Db Bbm
Now it just don't feel the same
           Gb Ab
I guess it's over yhea we're done

Kodaline is a Dublin-based Irish alternative rock quartet. Originally known as 21 Demands, the band made chart history in March 2007, when their debut single “Give Me A Minute” topped the Irish Singles Chart; becoming the first independently released track to achieve the feat.
