Intro -x4-: G C

Verse:
               G C G C
Well I see the souls of so many friends,
G C G
And I see us all back here again.
C G D G
With sandy floors and ceiling fans,
C D G
a Rastafarian one-man band with songs
             C G
That fill my memories like a tip jar.
C G C G C
Yeah, that's what I see, when I see this bar.

Verse:
G C G C
I see tourists at Christmas time,
G C G
And I taste beers with a hint of lime.
C G D G
I feel lonely cause it's not the same,
C D
  Different faces and different names,
G C G
Living like pirates out among the stars.
C G C G
Yeah, that's what I see, when I see this bar.

Chorus:
D G
Pieces of our past slowly slip away,
Em D C
But time just stands still when I walk in this place.

Verse:
            G C G
And I see a kid coming into his own
C G C G
And a man learning to move on.
C G D G
Somehow trying to find his way,
C D
a dreamer betting on blind faith
G C G
Chasing that sun and following his heart.
C G C G
Yeah, that's what I see, when I see this bar.

Interlude:
    C G D G
    C D G

Chorus:
D G
Pieces of our past slowly slip away,
Em D C
But time just stands still when I walk in this place.

Verse:
G C G C
a few have moved on back to Maine,
G C G
  Jacksonville and Key Biscayne.
C G D G
Some are still living the dream,
C D
Stuck in still life it seems.
   G C G
No matter where they've been, or where they are,
C G C G
Yeah, I see 'em here, when I see this bar.
C G C G C
  when I see this bar.

Outro:
G C
I wonder where we go from here
G C G
-That's what I see when I see this bar-
                         C
Life ain't over but it's always near
G C G
-That's what I see when I see this bar-
                      C G
I think about all the good times that we had
               C G
-That's what I see when I see this bar-
                         C
It makes me happy and it makes me sad
G C G
-That's what I see when I see this bar-
                   C G
How could we be so close, now so far apart
               C G
-That's what I see when I see this bar-
              C G C G
That's what I feel, that's what I see -when I see this bar-
                         C G
Yeah we were living like pirates and wannabe stars
              C G C G C G C G C
That's what I see when I see this bar
G C G C G C G C G C G C
That's what I see when I see this bar
