Intro -x2-: G Em Am D

Verse 1:
G
I can't erase the time or the place
Em
You said forever and now all the things that
  Am
I do
              D
Remind me of you
G
I can’t accept that you just forget
 Em
All of the times that you promised you'd
          Am
always be mine
                 D
Till the end of time

Chorus:
                    G
And another day is gone
                     Em
Tell me how to carry on
                     Am
People ask me what I need
                          D
But all I want is you and me
                            G
Don't you know how good it feels
                            Em
When you’re with me in my dreams
                      Am
And I don't wanna be awake
                     D
Ever since you went away

Verse 2:
 G
Shadows of love still live in my walls
   Em
I want you too much to be just friends
                 Am
Cause you can't replace
                     D
The things that you take
G G
I lost you once, the damage is done
Em
You keep on haunting me
                      Am
I don't know where I belong
            D
You did me wrong

Chorus:
                    G
And another day is gone
                     Em
Tell me how to carry on
                      Am
People ask me what I need
                          D
But all I want is you and me
                            G
Don't you know how good it feels
                           Em
When you're with me in my dreams
                       Am
And I don't wanna be awake
                     D
Ever since you went away

Bridge:
Em Bm
Why did you go? Left me alone
 D Am
What should I do with your texts on my phone?
Em Bm
Pictures of us I used to trust
     D Am
And now it's lost

Chorus:
                     G
And another day is gone
                     Em
Tell me how to carry on
                      Am
People ask me what I need
                          D
But all I want is you and me
                             G
Don’t you know how good it feels
                            Em
When you’re with me in my dreams
                      Am
And I don't wanna be awake
                      D
Ever since you went away

This song makes me 1. Not want to grow up, and 2. want to lay on the grass talking with my friends…

this is my new favorite!!! so glad they added this :)))

Ananu

DDU UDU, and I aggressively strum D before the chorus. For the chorus, I like doing DUX UUX UUX, and I change it up whenever it feels necessary.

yaya2023

replace Am7 with Am

Ur mom

I think plain a sounds better than am7
